With the DAB-Z app, users can enjoy listening to Digital Radio DAB/DAB+ on their Android head unit in the car by simply using a USB DAB/DAB+ adapter. This adapter is compatible with mobile phones and tablets that possess "USB host" capabilities. Connect the DAB/DAB+ receiver via a USB-OTG adapter to these devices to initiate the app.

It is important to note that the app does not support SDR USB adapters. Additionally, a suitable antenna is necessary for receiving DAB/DAB+ signals effectively. Once stations have been scanned for initially, users have the ability to:

• Select stations easily from a list, which can also be done using steering wheel buttons in the car
• Receive text messages ("Dynamic Label Segment") containing current title and artist information if provided by the station via broadcast
